Byron came to us from Huntsville, Texas, Fire Dept. There he served as a Firefighter/ECA, Engine Company Lt, and Secretary of the fire department for three years. He joined View VFD in 1999 as a firefighter. Promoted to Captain and elected as President in 2000 and continues to serve in these positions. He was acting Chief when Chief Bogart took a leave of absence. He is a certified NREMT-B, serves on the Taylor County 911 Board, Taylor County Rural Fire Protection Committee, Big County CISM Team, and South Taylor EMS volunteer ambulance service.

Doug, a graduate of Texas A&M, joined the View Volunteer Fire Department in 1986. Served as Fire Chief from 1986 to 1999, elected as Assistant Fire Chief in 1999. Held positions as Captain, and Senior Firefighter. His offices include President, Vice-President, Treasure, and Sargent at Arms. Doug started the EMS certification program and became the first ECA. Doug is a Founding Member of BCFFA where he held the positions of Vice-President and Treasure. He is also a Founding Member of Taylor County Rural Fire Committee.

Terry is an active duty member serving proudly in the U.S. Air Force at Dyess AFB. He joined the View Volunteer Fire Department in February of 2005, completed the Introductory Fire Academy as well as the Texas A&M ECA Class. In November of 2009 he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
Terry has been a social member of his father's volunteer fire department in Volant, Pennsylvania for the past 16 years. When home on leave, he assists his father's department in bingo and fundraisers as well as providing support in fighting fires. Terry has the distinct honor of serving with his wife Diana, who recently joined the department.
