Abilene Fire Control Conference

The Abilene Fire Department held its 61st Abilene Area Fire Control Conference Saturday August 15, 2015 in conjunction with Texas Engineering Extension Service. They provided training and continuing education hours to hundreds of area volunteer firefighters. The courses include classroom-style lectures and hands-on training.
We had six of our members attend the training sessions. We trained on Fire Protection Systems, Hazardous Materials Awareness Certification, Pump Operations, Car Fires, Car Fire Search and Rescue, LPG & Natural Gas Fires, and House Fires to name a few.
Your donations and support afforded us the opportunity to attend. Thank you!
