Abilene Area Fire Control Conference 2022
Saturday, August 6th, 2022

The Abilene Fire Department held its Abilene Area Fire Control Conference 2022 on August 4-6, 2022, in conjunction with Texas Engineering Extension Service. They provided training and continuing education hours to hundreds of area volunteer firefighters. The courses include classroom-style lectures and hands-on training.

We had nine of our members attend the training sessions. We trained on BEAST (Basic Engine and Suppression Tactics), Car Fires, LPG & Natural Gas Fires, House Fires, as well as Wildland.

Your donations and support afforded us the opportunity to attend. Thank you!
